A national financial services company is in search of an Interim Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. LaSalle has been partnered with this prestigious firm for the last 25 years to help hire top talent for their accounting team. This organization has been pushing to expand their national presence and works with some of the nation’s most innovative companies.The ideal candidate for this Interim Staff Accountant position will have experience working in a position that touches many aspects of corporate accounting. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide breadth of accounting functions, and to solve many complex challenges. This Interim Staff Accountant will have exposure to the CFO and will be reporting to the Director of FP&A.
Interim Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Assist with the month end close process and various monthly journal entries
- Prepare quarterly forecasts and the annual budget
- Participate in ad hoc special projects
- Review accounting transactions posted by other team members.
- Support internal and external audits
Interim Staff Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree required
- Degree in accounting preferred, at least other business-related subjects required
- 1+ year of relevant work experience in accounting required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and working with large data files in Excel required
