Job Description

LaSalle Network has partnered with a client that has an immediate need for an experienced payroll manager. The Interim Payroll Manager will be responsible for working on tax related tasks, such as W2 forms, preparing reports and updating policies, and will help achieve standards that are necessary for growth within the financial department.

Pay for this role will range between $48-$55 per hour. This opportunity also includes benefits such as health insurance, 401K options and attractive PTO.

Interim Payroll Manager Responsibilities:
  • Comply with relevant laws and internal policies
  • Respond to all questions related to payroll and resolve issues
  • Oversee processing of payroll changes and system upgrades
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll audits
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
  • Evaluate and improve system processes for payroll account transactions
  • Manage time keeping and payroll systems
  • Supervise and coach payroll administrators and clerks

Interim Payroll Manager Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate for this role will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of accounting and/or payroll experience
  • 2+ years of proven leadership experience
  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • CPP, CPM or other related detail-oriented certifications is a plus
  • Experience with multiple payroll applications
