LaSalle Network has partnered with a manufacturing company in the Chicagoland area to hire an Interim Manufacturing Controller. This position will be responsible for planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems and leading departmental staff. The Interim Manufacturing Controller must effectively manage within strict time constraints when providing client services, lead while also being a team player, generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo.

Interim Manufacturing Controller Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations and G/L analysis
• Direct finance department activities, such as accounts payable, billings and collections and payroll
• Produce cash-flow reports, calculate cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals and manage daily cash
• Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques
• Manage the creation of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis

• Experience in manufacturing or similar industry
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or other business related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred
