Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Data Analytics Manager to join their team on a temporary basis. The Interim Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for leading a team of data analysts and managing the company's data analytics operations. The primary objective of the role will be to ensure the effective collection, management and analysis of data to support business decisions and improve company performance. This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity to convert to full time.Interim Data Analytics Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company's data analytics operations, ensuring the effective collection, management and analysis of data to support business decisions and improve company performance
- Lead a team of data analysts, providing guidance, coaching and support to ensure the team's success
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize data analytics needs, ensuring that data is collected and analyzed in a timely and effective manner
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies, processes and procedures to improve the accuracy, reliability and relevance of data analysis
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insight into key business metrics, trends and performance indicators
- Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders, including senior management, to inform business decisions and support company goals
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, working with IT to implement changes that streamline data collection, management and analysis
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, taking appropriate measures to protect sensitive data
Interim Data Analytics Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, information management, data science) or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a proven track record of success in managing data analytics teams and operations
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze and interpret complex data from multiple sources
- Experience with data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python) required
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve success
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance) preferred
