Information Security Manager

As the Information Security Manager specializing in penetration testing, incident response, vulnerability management and audits, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security of our client’s systems, networks and data assets. You will be responsible for designing and executing security assessments, managing incidents, identifying vulnerabilities and overseeing compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Information Security Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals responsible for penetration testing, incident response, vulnerability management and audits
• Develop and implement a comprehensive penetration testing strategy to identify vulnerabilities in our systems, applications and network infrastructure
• Coordinate and conduct regular penetration tests and vulnerability assessments, interpreting results and providing actionable recommendations for remediation
• Design, implement and maintain an effective incident response plan to address and mitigate security incidents promptly and effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and coordinated responses to security incidents, minimizing potential damage and impact
• Oversee vulnerability management processes, including scanning, assessment, prioritization and remediation tracking
• Plan and execute security audits to assess compliance with internal policies, industry regulations and best practices
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to enhance security strategies
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into system development and operational processes
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding the organization's security posture, incidents, vulnerabilities and remediation efforts
• Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement across the organization

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science or related field; master's degree preferred
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or related certifications highly desirable
• Proven experience in information security management, with a focus on penetration testing, incident response, vulnerability management and audits
• Strong technical knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication and security protocols
• Experience with industry-standard security tools and technologies for penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
• Solid understanding of security frameworks, regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry best practices
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing security teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
