Job Description
As an Information Security Architect focused on governance, risk, and strategy, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing information security policies, strategies and frameworks to protect our client’s critical assets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our client’s security measures align with business objectives and industry best practices.


Information Security Architect Responsibilities:
  • Governance and Compliance: Develop and maintain an information security governance framework that complies with relevant regulations and industry standards. Ensure policies and procedures are consistently enforced throughout the organization
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess security risks and vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies. Conduct regular risk assessments and work collaboratively to prioritize and address security concerns
  • Security Strategy: Develop, implement and update the information security strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organization's business goals and evolving security landscape. Continuously assess and improve security strategies to adapt to emerging threats
  • Security Architecture: Design and implement security architecture solutions that protect the organization's data, systems and infrastructure. Ensure that security principles are integrated into all IT projects and initiatives
  • Security Awareness: Promote security awareness and best practices across the organization. Develop and deliver training programs and materials to educate employees on security-related topics
  • Incident Response: Collaborate with incident response teams to develop and maintain an effective incident response plan. Participate in security incident investigations, root cause analysis and remediation efforts
  • Vendor Assessment: Evaluate and manage third-party vendors' security practices to ensure they meet the organization's security standards
  • Security Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date security policies, standards and procedures. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders

Information Security Architect Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in information security, with a strong background in engineering and architecture
  • In-depth knowledge of information security principles, best practices and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST)
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing security governance, risk management and strategic initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and SIEM solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead security initiatives
