HR Representative Jr

LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to identify a contract HR & Payroll Specialist to support their onsite team. This role is based fully onsite, five days per week, and requires someone highly mobile who is comfortable walking between multiple buildings on campus. If you're experienced in payroll, employee relations, and LOA administration—and you’re flexible on hours—this could be the opportunity for you.

HR & Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:

• Process payroll and compensation-related tasks with precision and timeliness

• Support employee relations efforts, including documentation and investigations

• Manage leave of absence cases, including FMLA, ADA, and short-term disability

• Conduct and facilitate new hire orientations and onboarding via Workday

• Adapt quickly to internal systems and evolving operational needs

• Serve as an onsite HR presence across shifts, supporting employees across all levels

HR & Payroll Specialist Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in HR, payroll, and employee relations

• Proficiency or familiarity with Workday strongly preferred

• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort supporting multiple shifts and departments

• Flexible schedule with the ability to arrive by 7 a.m. or stay as late as 5:30 p.m. as needed

• Must be comfortable walking throughout a large campus and not allergic to penicillin

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR experience preferred
