Our client, a growing international packaging and containers manufacturer, is seeking a driven and experienced HR Operations Manager to join their growing corporate team! Are you an experienced HR professional with a knack for tactical processes and project management? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where adaptability and strategic thinking are key? Then this HR Operations Manager role is for you! In this role you will serve as the right-hand support to the Senior Director of HR and liaise with key leadership daily.

HR Operations Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead various HR projects, including research, policy development and process improvement. Oversee the selection and management of vendors for background checks, drug screening and physical demand assessments
  • Assist in creating and updating basic HR policies, such as workplace harassment and violence policies. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Act as a plug-and-play resource for employee relations investigations. Provide onboarding and offboarding support for the executive team and remote US division employees
  • Manage the recruitment process for salaried positions, including job postings, interviews and partnerships with educational institutions and agencies. Oversee pre-employment processes, including background checks and drug testing
  • Drive various HR projects and initiatives, creating HR dashboards and reports for senior management. Ensure efficiency through technology, handling onboarding workflows, people analytics and offboarding processes
  • Strengthen communication between the business and employees regarding HR programs, policies and processes. Navigate through change management processes with flexibility and clear communication
  • Provide strategic insights and support to the Senior Director of HR, assisting with presentations, program development and process improvements

HR Operations Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field
  • 5+ years in HR operations management
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and lack of structure
  • Experience with policy writing and administering FMLA and Worker’s Compensation preferred
  • PHR/SHRM-CP certification(s) preferred
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG, Paycom and Kronos preferred
