The HR Manager will partner with plant leadership to provide managing support throughout the location, including but not limited to training, safety, benefits administration, employee relations, process improvement, policies/procedures and recruitment. The ideal candidate will want to roll up their sleeves and dive into any issue by applying their experience to problem solve and work well with the employees as well as senior management. This candidate will also have excellent communication and ability to build meaningful relationships with senior plant management and employees.

HR Manager Responsibilities:
  • Serve as subject matter expert on all things human resources for employees including but not limited to employee relations, compliance, benefits, compensation, training, coaching, performance management, safety and HR strategy 
  • Partner with the Plant Management and Corporate HR on implementing HR initiatives throughout the location 
  • Support all employee and labor relations issues, investigations, documentation and exit interviews/terminations as needed 
  • Provide advice and management to employees to ensure proper implementation of facility safety practices and policies  
  • Oversee performance management, training and development, as well as assistance in administrating training to employees across facility  
  • Provide support in compliance and employment laws 
HR Manager Requirements:  
  • 8+ years of HR work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Driven, motivated and ambitious aspiring HR professionals are a must 
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral 
  • Experience with developing employee programs 
  • Positive attitude and flexibility are a must
