LaSalle Network is hiring a Help Desk Support Level I Technician for a contract role based in Chicago, IL! This is a hybrid opportunity with a fast-paced IT team that needs an extra set of hands to tackle Tier 1 support and ensure a smooth rollout of Windows 11 upgrades. If you’re a tech-savvy problem solver who can manage a ticket queue with precision and confidence, we want to hear from you.
This team is in the thick of a major device replacement initiative, and your role will be critical in keeping the lights on while the rest of the crew executes the upgrade project.
Help Desk Support Level I Responsibilities:

Manage and resolve Tier 1 tickets through SolarWinds or similar platforms like ServiceNow or Zendesk

Support onboarding/offboarding tasks for new hires and terminations

Troubleshoot printer issues and general hardware problems, including Lenovo laptops

Assist with a 700+ laptop upgrade project, replacing 250+ devices

Deliver excellent support to users across the organization, both onsite and remotely

Leverage systems including Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM, Active Directory, and Citrix
Help Desk Support Level I Requirements:

2+ years of Tier 1 IT support experience

Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills (you’re not just escalating, you’re fixing)

Experience with onboarding/offboarding workflows

Confidence managing ticket queues independently

Excellent communication and customer service skills
