Our client is looking for a strategic and collaborative innovation leader to help shape the future of one of the most beloved premium food brands in the U.S. This role will also play a key part in managing and refining the existing product portfolio, ensuring it remains relevant, profitable, and scalable.
This is a hybrid (3-days in) direct hire position based in the northern suburbs of Illinois.
Head of Innovation Responsibilities:

Guide the long-term innovation pipeline with a focus on consumer insights and business strategy

Evaluate and prioritize new product ideas, collaborating with internal teams across functions

Partner with global counterparts to tailor global platforms for the U.S. market

Lead communication with executive stakeholders on innovation strategy and progress

Manage the current product portfolio, identifying opportunities for renovation and optimization
Head of Innovation Requirements:
-
7+ years of experience driving innovation strategy & new product development within the food industry is essential
- MBA preferred and/or bachelor’s degree, preferably in a marketing or business-related discipline

Strong background in marketing-led innovation; this is not a technical R&D role

Experience working cross-functionally across category, brand, and commercial teams

Comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing cross-functional teams, and driving alignment
