In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our client’s grant portfolio, supporting their mission to provide hope, healing and recovery to thousands in need. They offer a base salary up to $115,000 with an additional bonus.
Grant Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Maintain continuous compliance with federal and state laws for a diverse portfolio of grants
- Review, edit and transmit all contract-related financial reporting
- Handle comprehensive reporting on expenditures of grants and contract funds
- Accurately record and document grant/contract-related transactions and journals
- Prepare required financial reports with precision and timeliness
- Assist in the management of grant accounting staff
Grant Accounting Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5+ years of experience in grant management, preferably in a non-profit setting
- Strong knowledge of federal and state grant regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
