Job Description
LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading technology manufacturing company headquartered in the north suburbs of Chicago. Our client is in search of a Financial Reporting Senior Consultant who will support their global operations across various business units. This role will play a critical role in the company’s global consolidations and compliance financial reporting.

As a Financial Reporting Senior Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will work closely with various teams to gather financial data, analyze it and produce reports that provide insights into the company's financial performance. Financial Reporting Senior Consultant Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for process improvements
  • Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data
  • Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks, and coordinate with external auditors to support the audit process
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support executive decision-making and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in financial reporting systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting processes and enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments, including accounting, operations and IT, to gather necessary information for reporting and analysis

Financial Reporting Senior Consultant Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) a plus
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP), SEC regulations and other accounting principles
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus
