Job Description
A nationally recognized leader in higher education is in search of a Financial Analyst II to support one of the university’s development departments. Located in the Chicagoland area, this organization is recognized as one of the premier education organizations in America and has consistently received high marks in employee satisfaction.
This Financial Analyst II will be responsible for formalizing FP&A processes, annual budgeting and managing a portfolio. The Financial Analyst II reports to the Finance Manager and will have the exposure of working with different stakeholders and departments.
This Finance Analyst II salary is budgeted between $65,000 - $75,000 and includes great benefits such as tuition reimbursement.
Finance Analyst II Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations and analysis in support of central offices such as HR, Budget, Financial Aid, Facilities, Purchasing, IT, Provost, etc.
- Manage a portfolio relating to properties the University is renting/leasing out
- Review and reconcile actual expenses to budget
- Work closely with Directors on budgeting, forecasting, variances, reporting and updating them on financials
Finance Analyst II Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 2+ years of FP&A experience
- Advanced Excel skills, able to work with large sets of data
- Tableau experience preferred
- Outstanding communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
