Job Description
Looking to grow your career in the Retail/Food & Beverage industry? LaSalle Network has partnered with a rapidly growing, multi-billion-dollar company who is looking to add an External Audit/Financial Reporting Analyst to their team. The External Audit/Financial Reporting Analyst will help manage the critical resources and infrastructure that keep the business running smoothly. You will assist in consolidations and reporting in accordance with IFRS. You will have exposure to international teams and support the external audit. This is a highly visible role with tremendous growth opportunities. This position offers a competitive base salary starting at $80,000.

External Audit/Financial Reporting Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Assists with monthly consolidations of financial results to ensure timely and accurate reports
  • Prepare journal entries, monthly account reconciliations and other monthly financial statements
  • Maintain the monthly SEM-BCS consolidation process to ensure financial data is accurately being brought into the consolidation system to meet the company's external reporting requirements
  • Assist in the year-end preparation of audit schedules
  • Analyze consolidation procedures, both accounting and reporting, but also the technical systems, with the objective to identify best practices
  • Determine and create the required project deliverables
  • Assist leadership in implementation and rollouts of large-scale projects and perform other special projects as required
  • Recommend action or treatment with respect to accounting or finance policies
  • Identify improvements to standard team processes that require investigation and partnership with other departments
  • Collaborate with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader

External Audit/Financial Reporting Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics or finance required
  • 1-3 years of accounting/audit experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • CPA preferred but not required
