This role is a long-term Contract Opportunity, and the expectation is for this person to be able to work on-site in Downtown Chicago 3-5 days per week. Important note: we cannot support C2C employment for this search.
Endpoint (InTune) Engineer Responsibilities:
- Drive the continuous improvement and effective delivery of the organization's End Point Platforms, including (but not limited to): InTune, corporate build images, device patching, software delivery, M365 integration and BYOD solutions
- Lead the charge in migrating ~3,500 end users and their respective devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11
- Oversee the logging, updating and resolution of incidents and service requests via the Service Desk (JIRA), ensuring controls for security, resiliency and operational monitoring across endpoints are effective
- Stay informed about emerging end-user technologies, preparing to present use cases to management and fostering relationships with stakeholders to optimize product functionality and fit-for-purpose solutions
- Maintain thorough documentation for configurations, issue resolutions and operating procedures, while aligning practices with ITIL framework and collaborating with other tech departments for seamless service transitions
Endpoint (InTune) Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related discipline is preferred
- 5+ years of technical experience working with both on-prem/legacy tools and modern/cloud-based tools
- Experience with InTune (as well as SCCM) and Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Experience in migration/upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 is highly desirable
- Office/Microsoft365
- Active Directory and AzureAD/EntraID
- Windows Autopilot
- Similar industry (i.e., banking, finance, exchange, trading, etc.) experience as well as relevant certifications (i.e., Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified Endpoint Manager) are a plus but not required
