This person will focus heavily on leading employee relations investigations, but will also touch other areas of HR, including performance management, learning & development and more. Employee Relations Business Partner Responsibilities:
Lead and drive employee relations initiatives, serving as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters
Conduct thorough investigations related to employee relations issues, with a focus on an hourly-heavy workforce, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of concerns
Provide guidance and expertise to management and employees on employee relations matters, maintaining a proactive approach to prevent and address potential issues
Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a healthy and inclusive work environment
Contribute to performance management strategies, leadership coaching and learning & development initiatives to enhance overall employee engagement and productivity
Employee Relations Business Partner Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, particularly in an employee relations-heavy role, demonstrating progressively increasing responsibility and depth of expertise in employee relations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and develop and monitor action plans and recommendations based on the analysis
Flexibility and comfort in taking a hands-on approach, jumping in to get things done and actively participating in complex strategic discussions
A robust understanding of the importance of teamwork and collaboration, with a track record of successfully working in cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to comprehend and effectively communicate large-scale, complex changes within the organization
Go-getter attitude with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and evolving organization
Comfortable taking the lead and being the decision-maker on all employee relations matters
