Job Description

LaSalle Network is partnering with a prominent global law firm to find an experienced Electronic Billing Specialist. The Electronic Billing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of drafting and finalizing client bills. Compensation ranges from $75,000-$95,000 per year.

Electronic Billing Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Provide providing electronic billing support to assigned clients
  • Set up clients on e-billing vendor website
  • Collaborate with e-billing service providers to create and maintain Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) templates
  • Perform monthly maintenance on e-billing websites, such as entering new rates, accruals, budgets and status reports
  • Ensure electronic bills comply with client and e-billing vendor requirements
  • Perform and monitor monthly electronic bill submissions
  • Collaborate with Billing Specialists, clients and vendors to resolve rejections and create appeals
  • Monitor and report on the status of submitted electronic bills and follow-up as necessary
  • Track and complete electronic billing related requests through internal ticketing system
  • Use e-billing platforms and firm systems to generate reports as needed

Electronic Billing Specialist Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Legal Billing
  • Elite or Aderant billing preferred
  • Experience working with LEDES
  • Knowledge and understanding of UTBMS codes
