This role was created due to organizational growth and offers high visibility within cross-functional engineering and leadership teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the design and development of advanced electrical power generation systems and components.
  • Guide project teams through design, manufacturing, and test phases, ensuring technical excellence and schedule adherence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering groups to align design intent with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a key technical liaison across departments and with external partners and clients.
  • Develop and validate testing protocols; analyze results and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Represent engineering solutions and progress updates to internal stakeholders and customer teams.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or related field).
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical systems or aerospace engineering, with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a systems-level mindset.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with cross-functional design teams.
  • Deep knowledge of design validation, regulatory compliance, and system integration best practices.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.

Bonus Points For
  • Background in electrical systems for aerospace platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Windchill RV&S, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar.
  • Exposure to Model-Based Design for system simulation and control strategies.
  • Experience with standards related to complex hardware/software integration.
