Job Description

LaSalle Network is partnering with one of the country's best known service brands to hire a Director of Talent Development. This Director will focus on narrowing the "talent gap" through examining current leadership skill sets and desired skill sets necessary to achieve the organization's strategic plan.

Director of Talent Development Responsibilities:

  • Work with members of the senior leadership team to create and implement learning and development initiatives that contribute to developing a talent-focused culture
  • Develop training and development programs for senior leadership, including building programs that cater to the specific needs and responsibilities of high-level executives
  • Responsible for the design of training curriculum including researching, designing and engaging in material development to create training programs to reach competencies
  • Create and implement trainings on mission-critical positions such as Field, Contact Center and Home Office leadership
  • Work with People and Leadership Business Partners to assess training needs
  • Develop and provide train-the-trainer programs to People and Leadership Business Partners for delivery
  • Help to create and build a culture that demands a high level of talent, recognizes and rewards top employees and sees development of talent as a high priority
  • Design materials and tools to support specific development initiatives (increasing workforce capability, talent retention, employee engagement and succession planning)

Director of Talent Development Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the Human Resources, Talent Development, L&D, organizational development or training/leadership development space required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field; master's degree or MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading high-performing teams
  • Ability to present to senior management/executive leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish rapport, build credibility and create partnerships at all levels internally and externally
  • Strong executive presence 
  • Experience translating vision into strategy and delivering results


While this role does have the ability to sit remote, this individual must reside within 200 miles of Columbus, OH.
