As the Director of Sales for our Venture Capital and Private Equity practice, you will be at the helm of driving revenue expansion and forging enduring connections with influential decision-makers. Your role will encompass the meticulous crafting and execution of a sales strategy, team leadership, and the achievement of ambitious milestones.  You will be working with VC and PE firms to help their portfolio companies hire talent both on a temp/contract basis as well as "permanent" employees in our search practice. 

Director of Sales, Venture Capital & Private Equity Responsibilities: 

  • Craft and execute an intricately designed sales strategy, identifying prime prospects and emerging avenues for growth within Venture Capital and Private Equity firms
  • Lead and mentor a team of exceptionally talented sales professionals, steering their efforts towards surpassing revenue objectives.
  • Forge and nurture relationships with C-suite executives and partners within targeted VC and PE organizations
  • Tailor bespoke solutions that seamlessly align with the distinctive requisites of Venture Capital and Private Equity clients
  • Collaborate harmoniously with our ingenious marketing team to shape resonant messaging, campaigns and assets
  • Maintain a vigilant watch over market trends, competitive dynamics and industry shifts, harnessing emerging opportunities to our advantage
  • Elevate our market presence through your active participation in industry symposiums, conferences and networking gatherings
  • Harness the power of data-driven insights to meticulously monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline vitality and overarching business growth
  • Cultivate a culture of perpetual improvement and excellence, fostering continuous professional growth within your sales team

Director of Sales, Venture Capital & Private Equity Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a cognate field; MBA a plus
  • Exhibit a commendable track record of triumphant B2B sales engagements, prominently within the realms of Venture Capital and Private Equity
  • Showcase your proficiency in masterfully directing and inspiring sales teams towards exceeding revenue targets
  • Command an aura of exceptional interpersonal finesse, uniquely poised to engage and persuade luminaries at the zenith of their professions
  • Possess an analytical sagacity and strategic dexterity that transforms trends into triumphs and insights into initiatives
  • Orchestrate presentations with the virtuosity of a maestro, delivering communication, negotiation and influence that resonates
  • Embark upon CRM platforms with the ease of a virtuoso, managing leads, opportunities and sales endeavors
