Job Description
LaSalle Network has partnered with a dynamic and rapidly growing professional services company with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Revenue & Billing Consultant to join their team and play a key role in optimizing revenue generation and billing processes. Headquartered in Chicago, this position will have a major impact on the firm’s financial trajectory.

As the Director of Revenue & Billing, you will lead the revenue and billing department, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance revenue recognition, billing accuracy and overall financial efficiency. You will be responsible for designing and implementing revenue and billing strategies that drive growth and profitability.


Director of Revenue & Billing Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement revenue recognition strategies to maximize revenue streams and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Oversee the billing process, identify areas for improvement and streamline billing operations to reduce errors and improve efficiency
  • Build and lead a high-performing revenue and billing team, providing mentorship, guidance and training to team members
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement in revenue and billing operations
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on revenue and billing strategies, and address any issues or challenges that arise
  • Evaluate, select, and implement billing and revenue management systems to enhance automation and accuracy in billing processes
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and standards related to revenue recognition and billing, ensuring the company's compliance
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on revenue and billing performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

Director of Revenue & Billing Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
  • MBA or CPA is a plus
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in revenue management, billing or finance leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and billing best practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
  • Experience with billing and revenue management software
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
