Lasalle Network is thrilled to be partnered with a global food manufacturer that produces brands we see on the grocery shelves everyday! They are seeking a Director of Learning & Development to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that elevate leadership, employee development, and organizational performance. This individual will play a key role in shaping a culture of continuous learning by designing impactful programs aligned with business priorities and employee needs.

This is a high-visibility leadership role based at the company’s headquarters in downtown Chicago, reporting directly to the VP of Talent Management & DEI.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Execute Strategic Learning Programs that support long-term organizational goals and foster leadership growth

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally with HR, senior leadership, and business units to embed development initiatives into broader talent strategies

  • Lead and Develop a Learning Team, providing guidance, mentorship, and career growth opportunities

  • Evaluate Program Impact using data, metrics, and feedback to continuously improve content and delivery

  • Leverage Industry Trends and learning technologies to bring innovation and modern learning approaches to the organization

  • Oversee Budgets related to learning and development, ensuring resource optimization and alignment with priorities


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in leadership development and organizational learning

  • Proven success in designing and implementing enterprise-level L&D programs

  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams

  • Strong ability to work across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and LMS/digital learning platforms

  • Skilled in vendor management and developing customized external learning solutions

  • Strong project management, budget oversight, and data-driven decision-making capabilities
