We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Enterprise Computing, Cloud Infrastructure & Network to lead the architecture team in optimizing technology infrastructure. As the Director of Enterprise Computing, Cloud Infrastructure & Network, you will play a critical role in shaping the technology landscape of this organization. You will lead a team of talented architects and engineers, guiding them in designing and implementing solutions that align with business goals. Your expertise in networking, compute, Azure, servers, datacenters, storage and backup will be essential in ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of this company’s technology infrastructure.

Director of Enterprise Computing, Cloud Infrastructure & Network Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the enterprise architecture team, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap that supports the organization's growth and innovation, with a focus on networking, compute, Azure, servers, datacenters, storage and backup
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect complex technology solutions that meet business requirements while optimizing performance and cost-effectiveness
  • Leverage deep knowledge of Azure cloud services to design and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring efficient resource utilization and compliance with best practices
  • Identify opportunities for optimizing existing infrastructure, including datacenters, storage, and backup solutions and implement strategies for increased efficiency
  • Oversee network architecture and security measures, ensuring a robust and secure network infrastructure
  • Lead and mentor a team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to assess technology solutions and make informed recommendations
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions and resource allocation
  • Ensure technology solutions adhere to industry regulations and security standards, proactively identifying and mitigating risks

Director of Enterprise Computing, Cloud Infrastructure & Network Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field (master's preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with expertise in networking, compute, Azure, servers, datacenters, storage and backup
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a high-performing architecture team
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing, specifically Azure
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus
