Demand Planner Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical sales data, market trends, and business insights
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align forecasts with business objectives
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Analyze key performance metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels
- Identify demand fluctuations and provide recommendations to mitigate supply chain risks
- Utilize forecasting tools and ERP systems to enhance demand planning processes
- Work closely with suppliers and distribution teams to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts
- Continuously improve forecasting models and planning methodologies
Demand Planner Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in forecasting tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience working in manufacturing, consumer goods, or distribution industries preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred
