Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about extracting meaningful insights from data, possess strong analytical abilities and have proficiency in SQL and either Power BI or Tableau. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping this team make informed decisions by analyzing and visualizing data.


Data Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define data analysis requirements
  • Query and manipulate large datasets using SQL to extract relevant information for analysis
  • Clean, transform and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Develop interactive and insightful dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau
  • Interpret data trends and patterns, and translate them into actionable insights
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to discover hidden insights and provide recommendations
  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data anomalies or inconsistencies
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization
  • Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively

Data Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases
  • Strong knowledge of data cleaning, transformation and validation techniques
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and data mining techniques is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a bonus
