Job Description
LaSalle Network is partnering with a is a leading law firm dedicated to safeguarding their clients' digital assets. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) to join this team. If you are passionate about protecting sensitive data, staying ahead of emerging threats, and have a proven track record in EDR, we want to hear from you.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer with Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) experience, you will play a crucial role in fortifying clients' digital security infrastructure. You will work collaboratively to detect, analyze and respond to security incidents across various endpoints, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.

Cybersecurity Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage endpoint security solutions to protect against advanced threats and vulnerabilities
  • Detect, investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches using EDR tools and techniques
  • Analyze security events and incidents to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations for mitigation
  • Continuously monitor and analyze endpoint security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, taking proactive measures to prevent breaches
  • Develop and maintain endpoint security policies and procedures, ensuring endpoints are properly configured and hardened against attacks
  • Integrate EDR solutions with other security tools and systems for enhanced threat detection and incident response
  • Prepare and deliver clear and concise incident reports to clients and management, detailing the scope, impact and recommended actions
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats and best practices, and recommend security enhancements to maintain a robust security posture
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security policies and measures align with business goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of security incidents, investigations and responses

Cybersecurity Engineer Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field; master's preferred
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Endpoint Detection & Response
  • Familiarity with EDR tools such as Carbon Black, CrowdStrike or SentinelOne
  • Strong knowledge of network security, operating systems and security best practices
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certifications are a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
