We're seeking a talented Customer Service Team Lead to oversee a team of 5-7 Customer Service Representatives and elevate our client’s customer support operations. The Customer Service Team Lead will be integral in ensuring customers receive outstanding service and support. This role involves supervising and guiding a team of 5 -7 Customer Service Representatives, managing daily operations and ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Customer Service Team Lead Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Customer Service Representatives, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing regular feedback, coaching and conducting performance reviews
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and escalations, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for current staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Manage daily operations of the customer service department, including scheduling, workload distribution and resource allocation
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high standards of customer service are consistently met
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve customer service processes, efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Generate and analyze reports on team performance, customer feedback and service metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Marketing and Product Development, to ensure a cohesive customer experience

Customer Service Team Lead Requirements:
  • 3+ years of customer service experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or a related field preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • A customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile
