Job Description

LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading CPG food company based in Chicago, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their business-to-business clients, primarily in the grocery store sector. Due to growth, this opening creates an exciting opportunity for someone to step into a pivotal role within the organization.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the end-to-end customer order processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to process orders and monitor compliance
  • Collaborate with supply chain, warehouses, and carriers to ensure on-time and complete deliveries
  • Work closely with Marketing on Seasonal Forecast-to-Order tracking
  • Establish and cultivate key customer relationships
  • Report on key business and customer KPIs
  • Maintain knowledge of external customer organizational structures
  • Manage relationships with broker partners and vendors
  • Facilitate setup of customers via EDI
  • Assist sales with customer setup and vendor agreements
  • Play a key role in ERP upgrades
  • Coordinate with the IT department on sales order systems and processes
  • Review and analyze special projects, keeping management informed

Customer Service Representative Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; 2-5 years of Customer Service experience
  • Prior experience in large CPG food companies, especially in Retail Grocery, is highly preferred
  • Experience with a tangible product, not SaaS, required
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Dynamics, MS Office and EDI
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Work setting is in person Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
