LaSalle Network is in search of a Customer Logistics Specialist that plays a critical role in managing customer orders to ensure exceptional service levels, including case fill and on-time delivery for one of our food & beverage industry leading clients. By analyzing inventory and production schedules, this role ensures optimal fulfillment while resolving customer inquiries and complaints. The Customer Logistics Specialist acts as a key point of contact for Sales and Brokers, delivering updates on order status and collaborating with transportation carriers to address issues, all while maintaining adherence to company policies and values.

Customer Logistics Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Analyze incoming customer orders to ensure alignment with service level agreements and satisfaction metrics
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints, often requiring innovative and non-standardized solutions
  • Formulate cost-efficient case-fill and delivery options that optimize service levels and contractual terms
  • Collaborate with Sales and Brokers to provide inventory-related updates and recommendations to maximize order efficiency
  • Independently negotiate with transportation carriers to resolve logistics challenges and ensure timely deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and core values
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and customer service functions

Customer Logistics Specialist Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of the company’s products and industry practices
  • A strong customer-focused attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Advanced problem-solving skills to address and resolve complex issues
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing role within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
