Their team is seeking a Customer Data Representative, who can work onsite in their Schaumburg office. This role ensures the efficient processing of quotations, release of orders, and updating of delivery information is completed properly
Customer Data Representative Responsibilities:
- Process RFQs to prepare and send commercial proposals to customers using the quotation system
- Ensure corporate business policies, terms and conditions of sale, and sales/marketing promotions are properly applied to quotations where relevant
- Release orders in the ordering system upon receiving approval from the Accounts Receivable team
- Load transporter delivery updates into the system to adjust customer delivery dates
- Produce proprietary certificates such as certificates of conformity, origin, and other required documents in coordination with the compliance team
- Send these documents, along with tracking and order status information, to customers using pre-established templates
- Work within established company guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Customer Data Representative Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Ability to input alphanumeric data within 20 minutes or less with at least 95% accuracy
- Positive attitude and adaptability to changing policies and responsibilities
- Driven to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines with high-quality work
- Flexibility to adapt to changing daily work activities based on workload
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the tooling or manufacturing industry is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
