Job Description
LaSalle Network is looking to hire a Creative Copywriter for one of our top clients in the distributor space in the northwestern Chicagoland suburbs.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, creative and highly collaborative environment and are passionate about concepting and creating content for the distributor space, this is the job for you! This is a hybrid onsite position with a growing team.
In this role, you will partner with the VP of Marketing & Communications to develop and produce the creative across all platforms.
Creative Copywriter Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing concise, beautifully crafted, persuasive copy for web, videos, email, social, digital ads, print, blogs and marketing collateral
- Help lead creative refresh across all digital marketing platforms for the company
- Serve as editor and brand voice for content other team members might create, as needed
- Constantly monitoring competitors and consumer trends to help ensure the brand speaks in an unexpected, fresh and relevant way
- Learn the business and the consumer to ensure work is as insightful, relevant and impactful as possible
- Familiar with A/B testing and embrace it as a means to continuously improve the effectiveness of creative content execution
- Partner with performance, growth and content leaders to ensure content and marketing communications are creatively strong and integrated
- Manage and help prioritize creative work to make sure it is all delivered on time
- Work cross-functionally and to balance multiple priorities with a fast-paced team
Creative Copywriter Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications or similar degree
- 3+ years of experience in an ad agency or client-side copywriting role
- Outstanding command of English grammar and syntax, with a broad vocabulary that fuels interesting copy that charms the reader to want to learn more
