Tax Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation and filing of U.S. federal and state income tax returns
- Lead quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision process and reporting
- Manage audits, maintain tax records, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions
- Handle international tax filings, transfer pricing, and global reporting
- Monitor global tax law changes and coordinate with international advisors
- Support intercompany transactions and transfer pricing policies
- Develop strategies to reduce tax liability and support business expansion
- Guide finance teams on tax implications for M&A, incentives, and structuring
- Mentor tax staff and support broader finance initiatives
Tax Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related; CPA required
- 5–7+ years in corporate tax with U.S. and international experience
- Strong knowledge of tax law (U.S. federal/state, GILTI, BEAT, FTC, ASC 740)
- Experience in tech, cybersecurity, or managed services a plus
- Proficient in Excel, OneSource or Corptax, and tax research tools
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and thrives in high-growth settings
