Job Description
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Corporate Controller to join their team. This Corporate Controller will direct the financial activities of the company and reports directly to the Global Controller with a dotted line report to the CFO.

This Corporate Controller is responsible for leading a team of 15+ accounting professionals and overseeing month-end, leading audits and managing internal controls. Corporate Controller Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports to summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position that will drive key decision-making
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year end operations report preparation of production statistics, revenue analysis, cost detail and variance analysis
  • Drive implementation of corporate and plant level initiatives
  • Participate in projects to drive process cost improvements to create efficiency and improve operating cash flow
  • Oversee and manage all general ledger activity
  • Responsible for proper control and valuation of inventory
  • Assist with internal, external and SOX audits

Corporate Controller Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of related experience in manufacturing accounting, preferably at the plant level
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other business-related field required
  • CPA highly preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience creating and managing budgets and forecasts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong technical skills with MS Excel and savvy with Accounting ERPs
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
