Controller Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation and financial statement preparation
- Collaborate with leadership to develop financial strategies that drive business performance and operational efficiency
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights for decision-making
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
Controller Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
