Controller

LaSalle Network has partnered with a dynamic, rapidly growing manufacturing company backed by a leading private equity firm. The ideal candidate will bring public accounting experience, a CPA and private equity experience, as well as the desire to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Controller Responsibilities:

• Create and implement efficient processes with a focus on internal controls
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close activities
• Support financial due diligence for M&A activities and provide financial insights for potential investments and acquisitions
• Support the CFO in the annual budgeting process
• Oversee AP, AR and payroll functions
• Create and implement KPIs for the leadership team
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and coordinate all audit activities
• Assist with the annual tax process and work with an external tax advisor
• Develop and implement a successful acquisition integration process

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance; master’s or MBA a plus
• CPA is required
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Deep experience with accounting, tax and finance and ability to focus on strategic as well as tactical projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse groups of stakeholders
• Previous experience working in a private equity-backed environment is preferred
