Job Description

Our client, a global leading producer of power technology, is looking for a Compensation Manager. This person will be the sole leader of compensation and report to the Vice President of HR, as well as work alongside the Compensation Committee and Legal Counsel.


Compensation Manager Responsibilities:

  • Management of the company’s compensation programs
  • Oversee the executive compensation packages
  • Prepare, manage and implement all compensation data from overseeing job architecture structures to salary banding, analyzing market surveys and more
  • Research and make recommendations for this public company when it comes to market trends, issues and best practices
  • Advise and answer any compensation related questions
  • Audit support for quarterly reviews, year-end audits, as well as ensuring that internal controls and procedures are in place
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects and reporting as requested

 

Compensation Manager Requirements:

  • 8+ years in compensation within a publicly traded company
  • Expert in data management in all facets of compensation
  • Subject matter expertise and passion for executive compensation administration
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong project-management focus
  • Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on top priorities and high impact economic and behavioral drivers
  • Knowledge of compensation statistics and metrics
  • Experience in HRIS systems and Pay Factors – preferably UKG
  • Strong skills in Excel and use of Proxy Tables
