Job Description

Our client is a leading player in the Travel & Leisure industry, committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences to their customers. They specialize in curating luxurious trips all over the US, Canada, Europe and around the glove. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Commercial Pricing Analyst to join the team and help optimize their pricing strategies for maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.

As a Commercial Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping their pricing strategies and ensuring their competitive positioning within the Travel & Leisure market. You will leverage data analysis, market research and industry insights to make data-driven pricing decisions that drive revenue growth and enhance our customers' experience.

Commercial Pricing Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine pricing strategies that align with company objectives and market dynamics
  • Monitor and analyze pricing trends within the Travel & Leisure industry, keeping a close eye on competitors' pricing strategies and market developments
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools and methodologies to analyze pricing data, customer behavior and market demand to identify pricing opportunities and threats
  • Continuously refine pricing models to maximize revenue and profitability, while also considering the impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Develop accurate pricing forecasts, taking into account seasonal fluctuations, market trends and external factors that may influence pricing decisions
  • Design and execute pricing experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of different pricing strategies and make recommendations for adjustments
  • Generate and present pricing performance reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with overall business goals
  • Ensure that pricing practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations within the Travel & Leisure industry

Commercial Pricing Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization tools)
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
