Commercial Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, coordination and execution
- Oversee the bidding, contracting and management of subcontractors
- Prepare and present weekly progress reports
- Ensure all projects meet timelines, budgetary constraints and quality standards
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project success
- Occasionally visit owner’s place of business as required, though travel is minimal and local
- Lead a team of superintendents and subcontractors to deliver high-quality work
Commercial Construction Project Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of construction project management experience is required, preferably in a commercial setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Project
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with trades and labor, and ability to work closely with subcontractors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and accountability
- Willingness and ability to learn new software and tools

- Ability to work in-office 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
