Role Overview:
As a Collections Analyst, you’ll go beyond making calls—analyzing customer behavior, driving strategy, and partnering with internal teams to improve collections efficiency and reduce aging receivables.
Collections Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze AR aging and customer payment trends to prioritize collection efforts
- Communicate with customers to resolve overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans
- Identify root causes of slow payments and collaborate with internal teams on solutions
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs and present insights to leadership
- Assist with credit reviews, customer reconciliations, and month-end processes
- 3+ years in AR/collections, preferably in a high-volume or analytical role
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data visualization a plus)
- ERP and collections software experience
- A data-driven, solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Highly visible role with impact
