Cash Applications / AR Specialist Responsibilities:

Accurately process high-volume customer payments and apply cash to appropriate accounts

Manage the AR inbox, handling customer inquiries and internal follow-ups

Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including short/over payments and unapplied cash
-
Set up new customer accounts and complete necessary vendor documentation
-
Support AR functions such as generating aging reports and issuing credit memos
-
Supervise and assist a billing team member as needed
-
Maintain accurate AR records and support reporting and reconciliations
Cash Applications / AR Specialist Requirements:

2+ years in cash applications or accounts receivable
-
Strong attention to detail with high-volume payment processing experience

Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to pivot between priorities

Proactive attitude with a desire to grow in the AR function
