Job Description

LaSalle Network has partnered with a dynamic and rapidly growing player in the syndicated debt space who is looking to add a Capital Markets Analyst to their team. As a Capital Markets Analyst, you will report to the VP of Finance with a dotted line to the C-Suite. In this role you will gain a deep understanding of a complex capital market structure to help guide the Company’s liquidity position. This position offers a competitive starting salary up to $110,000 plus bonus.  

 

Capital Markets Analyst Responsibilities:  

  • Assist in the execution of syndicated debt transactions, collaborating with cross-functional team to ensure successful completion 

  • Optimize the capital market stack via analyzing and proposing alternative structures to optimize short and long-term liquidity to meet the company’s growth expectations 

  • Develop scenario based financial and liquidity models to assess sensitivities of various capital structures on liquidity positioning 

  • Prepare external marketing materials to assist in managing relationships with rating agencies and investment banks 

  • Partner with the Treasury team to develop balance sheet limits and governance to efficiently manage the company’s capital and maintain minimum liquidity positions/optimize cash flow 

  • Develop short and long-term cash liquidity/cash forecasts to inform strategic decisions on investments and product structuring based on free cash flow projections 

 

Capital Markets Analyst Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Transaction Advisory, or Valuations. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Math preferred) 

  • Strong Financial Modeling skills and the ability to navigate complex data sets 

  • Ability to see the BIG picture and connect the Company’s strategic plans with its capital structure 

  • Strong presentation skills
