Job Description

Our client is looking for a CAD Project Specialist to oversee multiple projects within the organization. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and work heavily within CAD.  

CAD Project Specialist Responsibilities: 

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, deliverables and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Utilize your CAD proficiency to support design and engineering teams in developing detailed product drawings, prototypes, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure accurate translation of design concepts into CAD models

CAD Project Specialist Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field
  • 2+ years of project management experience  
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks or similar tools
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development lifecycle
