Job Description
LaSalle Network is hiring a Business Development Representative to join our Chicago sales team! This role will have a direct impact on the growth of our key accounts, as you’ll partner with some of our most tenured and successful outside sales executives to assist with cross-selling and setting appointments with new contacts.
The ideal candidate for this Business Development Representative role will be money-motivated, competitive and hungry for professional growth. Your career path can lead to management, or it may lead you to an outside sales role where you can manage the full closing process. The choice is yours, but it starts with a stellar work ethic, great communication skills and results.
Business Development Representative Responsibilities:
- Qualify and follow up on leads received from recruiting and marketing teams
- Contact prospects via cold calling outreach
- Schedule meetings with prospective clients or new contacts at existing accounts
- Maintain and update client information in CRM; document calls and conversations with all contacts
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of LaSalle Network’s recruiting services in order to provide a consultative approach to prospects
- Collaborate with LaSalle Network’s top sales producers to drive revenue and ensure the strength and success of key client relationships
Business Development Representative Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales or client-facing role with revenue goals and/or metrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong desire to pursue and grow a career in sales
- Highly motivated, competitive and willing to learn and apply feedback
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are in-office)
