Job Description

LaSalle Network is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team and drive new business growth for our staffing and recruiting services. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling our services to prospective clients, with a focus on small to mid-size companies throughout Chicagoland.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Generate new business opportunities by identifying potential clients in new markets and creating a sales plan to target them 
  • Conduct in-person sales meetings with current and prospective clients to understand their needs and present our recruiting services 
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to generate recurring business 
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals 
  • Utilize cold calling and networking to generate new business opportunities  
  • Work collaboratively with recruiting teams to ensure client satisfaction and achieve revenue targets  
  • Stay up-to-date with staffing and recruiting industry trends and competitive offerings 

Business Development Manager Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or a related field 
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets 
  • Experience selling staffing, recruiting or related services is a plus 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present to clients and build relationships 
  • Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals 
  • Comfortable with cold calling and networking to generate new business opportunities 
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve revenue targets 
  • Willingness to travel locally to meet with clients
