Our client is seeking a hands-on accounting professional to manage full-cycle bookkeeping and subcontractor compliance. You’ll be a key part of keeping operations running smoothly and transparently.
Bookkeeper responsibilities:
- Handle full-cycle bookkeeping including AP/AR, vendor invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate journal and general ledger entries, bank and account reconciliations
- Review and code financial transactions, purchase orders, and credit card statements
- Oversee subcontractor compliance, tracking lien waivers, COIs, contracts, and processing invoices in Bill.com
- Partner with project managers to track monthly costs and resolve vendor issues
Bookkeeper requirements:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Experience with NetSuite (preferred), QuickBooks, Bill.com, or other larger ERP systems
- Understanding of subcontractor documentation and compliance
- Detail-focused with strong organizational habits
- Basic Excel skills
- Construction or project-based industry experience strongly preferred
