Job Description

One of our top clients within the manufacturing space is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual (English and Spanish) Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department by facilitating communication between Spanish-speaking employees and management, ensuring compliance with labor laws and assisting with various HR functions. HR Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Act as a bridge between Spanish-speaking employees and English-speaking management, facilitating effective communication in both languages to enhance teamwork and cooperation
  • Collaborate with HR team members to coordinate and participate in the recruitment process, including job posting, interviewing and onboarding of new employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, time and attendance records, and other HR documentation, in compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and leave policies, ensuring Spanish-speaking employees understand their options
  • Provide translation and interpretation services as needed for HR-related documents, meetings and communications

HR Coordinator Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Previous HR experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, particularly those applicable to the manufacturing industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
