They are seeking a dynamic and motivated Associate Product Manager to join their team.

As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in the development, management and marketing of their 3-dimensional, durable goods, products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to product strategy and drive the success of our client’s product portfolio.

Associate Product Manager Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior product managers to develop and execute product strategies that align with company objectives and customer needs
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitive landscapes
  • Assist in defining product requirements, specifications and roadmaps based on market insights and customer feedback
  • Work closely with engineering, design and manufacturing teams to oversee product development from concept to launch
  • Support the creation of marketing collateral, product documentation and sales tools to effectively promote products in the market
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback and make data-driven recommendations for product enhancements or modifications
  • Assist in managing product lifecycles, including pricing, inventory management and end-of-life strategies
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements and consumer preferences to inform product decisions and strategies

Associate Product Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the durable goods industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with 3-dimensional, durable goods, products and understanding of manufacturing processes is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • Proven track record of driving results and achieving business objectives
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work onsite in the Western Chicagoland suburbs for at least 2 days a week
