From humble beginnings as a small factory in Astoria, to the #1 brand in the fresh dips category, our client continues to grow as a billion-dollar company with a global footprint! However, they are still small enough where you can come in and make an immediate impact. Our client is looking for an Associate Director, Marketing Foodservice to join their team to lead Foodservice marketing and strategy for the entire portfolio. This role is located in the New York area and reports into a Vice President.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead foodservice marketing for the entire portfolio
    • Strategize, develop and execute foodservice marketing plans/budgets
    • Define and implement KPIs to measure performance of all marketing activities in the foodservice channel
    • Act as key point of contact with Brand Marketing team to ensure strategic and creative alignment across all activations
    • Lead foodservice innovation & product strategy to support growth targets & customer needs
    • In partnership with the Culinary team develop menu strategies & menu recommendations that generate business
    • Develop and execute partnerships strategy spanning product, brand and customers
  • Drive ingredient/culinary growth
    • Driving awareness among potential customers via Industry trade marketing – both print & digital + targeted marketing via email & LinkedIn
    • Lead sales strategy & selling story to win branded menu placements across hummus center of plate platform and portability portfolio
    • Gather & synthesize consumer & customer insights, trends & other key data to create customized sales pitches to secure incremental sales
    • Drive consumer pull to ensure sustained and profitable menu placement
    • Collaborate with customers on marketing and incentive programs to drive awareness of Sabra on menu at each customer via digital/social/in-store components
  • Drive portability portfolio
    • Collaborate with Foodservice Sales and Marketing teams to identify growth opportunities specific to portability portfolio
    • Adapt portability pipeline for foodservice and look for new foodservice specific innovation opportunities that will generate incremental growth

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Foodservice Marketing experience at a CPG or Restaurant Concept working on both culinary and retail packaged goods in the foodservice channels
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred 
  • Self-starter who can work independently to drive an agenda but be part of a team
  • Proven analytic skills with ability to apply to strategy and activation
  • Good people person that can work at a high-level cross-functionally and history of partnering closely with Sales teams
  • Experience working and partnering with Culinary Chef teams
  • Track record of growing a business/brands through foodservice channels
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel
