Job Description

Are you a manufacturing professional looking to help drive operations and strategy for a strong and steadily growing multi-national company? Our partner is looking for candidates with 7+ years of experience in automotive industry operations to join their team as an Assistant Plant Manager. 

Assistant Plant Manager Responsibilities:

  • Support the plant manager in overseeing daily operations, including production, manufacturing, maintenance, quality control and distribution activities
  • Manages operations within a complex or large plant typically between 150-200 employees
  • Prepare and maintain plant budgets
  • Assist in enforcing safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the safety department to implement and maintain safety protocols and guidelines
  • Monitor the production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with industry regulations
  • Assist in implementing quality control procedures and resolving any quality issues that may arise

Project Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field; master's degree or relevant certifications may be advantageous
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in an automotive manufacturing or production environment, in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost-control techniques
  • Excellent organizational, leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
